Pelmenis, the Russian dumplings are a MUST
when visiting Russia.
Pelmenis with Russian sour cream "Smetana" mixed with Russian horseradish "Hren"...Tasty-tasty.
At least I love them. Even if this may be called
every-day-food for the Russians. I order them every time here and there, if
only in menu.
And I love all the “relatives” of the world of pelmenis too…
I
have eaten ”Varenykys” in Ukraina, ”Kyozas” in Japan,
”Momos” in Nepal,
and "Khinkalis" in Georgia. And in China the local Dumplings too.
Varenykys
with quark are almost the best of all…Eating kyozas with sour cream and Japanese
horseradish "wasabi" are the best and beast of all the food in the world…Georgian khinkalis
have also broth inside. Super! It is a piece of art, the way of eating them without
dropping the fillings on your trousers…
Prijatnogo appetita! Enjoy your Pelmeni-meal!
