Studios and Stardom: Lenfilm and Novodevitchy again, Mosfilm too

It was really a  WOW Trip, the Trip visiting of the Finnish-Russian society to the #Film'studios in St.Petersburg and Moscow!

So during the trip we visited the Lenfilm and its studios, and its props store...Actually there I visited for the first time last year. But now it was more, more detailed way and we had a guide. One Russian actor.

And the Mosfilm with the Mosfilm Museum tour including in the studio area built city from the ancient times, different studios, props rooms...and so on. You name it!

We lived in the Mosfilm hotel...

...and I had in front of my hotel room the poster of the film "Battelship Potemkin". There were all along corridors different film posters. Oh-oh.

Till the end of our stay in Moscow we visited the Novodevichy cementery. There are allways lots to see for those who are interested in the Russian history...

... You can find all the Russian celebrities from different decades and centuries...May be the Music - may be the Litterature - may be the Cinema - maybe the Politics. And so on. The advice to you is, to tost in front of every grave as did we. Russian vodka, of course.

If you have read my blog earlier, may be that you have read the story about my earlier visit in the Novodevichy cementary two years ago. Then it was mainly music and sports for me. I mean in which I concentrated on in the grave yard.

Well, then...The Filmtheater Illusion was the cherry on the top! I like those nostalgic kind of filmtheaters. You can feel and smell the decades of filmhistory there. No doubt.

So I hope it was possible for you when reading this story of mine feel the spirit of the world of the cinema. So take a train from Helsinki to the World of the Russian #Cinema!
Požaluista!

St.Petersburg fine: Craft beer - Draft beer, and Georgian Food

St.Petersburg rocks.

I just visited St.Petersburg. As I every year do...Once or more...Short or little bit longer...
I find, St.Petersburg is an interesting metropole and only 3,5 hours by train from Finland, Helsinki.

And open all day and night long...

I heard and it seems cervezas artesananales or craft beers are kind of in mode in St.Petersburg at the moment too. May be so or not. Anyway...I found one very nice bar selling craft&draft beers as they call it...

It means "Mom - I did not drink" or "Mom - I am not drunk yet". Go there. It is on "Ulitsa/Street Pestelya". By the way, thanks for the nice talks to the one of the owners of the bar!
 .....

One year later...The bar above has disapperead. I found though in the street nearby another craft beer local!

And a very nice restaurant. The cabbage pie was such deleicious....!!!!
 .....

The other day I visited a Georgian restaurant. As I almost every time I visit St.Petersburg do...Georgian food is very good. I visited a Georgian restaurant who the locals said is a new one and up to that very good. "Hatschapuri" on "Pereulok/Alley Mayakovskogo". Some hundred meters from the bars and restuarant above.

In the Georgian restaurant you mus take Georgian pelmenis called "Khinkalis" and Hartcho soup. And the famous Georgian wine, of course. I allways do. Ay-ay how delicious!
