Delicious on the Russian way…Vkusnyi po-russki…



"Borscht" you know, I am sure. But do you know "Solyanka"? I love it. Actually I ate Solyanka first time in DDR or was it in Estonia?

And the “Blinis”? In Russia they look like normal crepes, in Finland they look like fat crepes. Blinis with onions, roe and sour cream are…You can guess how they are…So, try them.


If you visit Helsinki, visit some Russian restaurants, as Bellevue. It is very traditional, and almost 100 years old. And the Bar Café Moskva. The heavy-heavy Retro-Russian bar with Russian type curtains and no opening hours marked on the door. It is one of the Kaurismäki-bars in Helsinki. I am sure you know who Kaurismäkis are, Aki and Mika. The famous Finnish filmmakers…
